Stillman School's M.B.A. Ranked Among Nation's Best by U.S. News & World Report  

U.S. News & World Report's 2021 Best Graduate Schools guide ranked the Stillman School of Business 85th in the nation for part-time M.B.A.s. The School is ranked among only those M.B.A. programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International — the highest standard of achievement for business schools.

"My colleagues and I are so proud of this increase in our M.B.A. program ranking, which affirms the high quality of Stillman's faculty and students," said Joyce Strawser, Ph.D., dean of the Stillman School. "We strive to deliver a program that is relevant for today's working professional, consistent with our mission and goal of transforming concepts into business practice."

With a focus on applied learning, the book ends of the program begin with the "M.B.A. Launch Experience" and ends with a team-consulting project for a client. In between, students learn business principals via a Spotlight Company in core classes, choose an area of specialization from accounting to supply chain management, and are taught by dedicated faculty and practice partners from Fortune 500 organizations.

"I knew from the initial launch experience I was at the right school," shared Adam Hansinger, M.B.A. '19, a regional marketing manager at Becton Dickinson. "I was able to interact with many other working professionals from various backgrounds and was engaging with the professors and adjunct faculty from day one."

"The deep engagement of our alumni – on our advisory boards and in our classes – enables us to provide a compelling curriculum and a unique and valuable learning experience," added Dean Strawser.

Factored into the 2021 ranking are a peer assessment score (50%); average GMAT/GRE scores (15%); average undergraduate GPA (12.5%); number of years of work experience (10%); and part-time enrollment (12.5%). Because Stillman's M.B.A. program caters to working professionals, it is almost exclusively part-time. Also, notable is the rise in the School's GMAT score as well as a competitive acceptance rate.

Stillman is ranked ahead of NJ/NY schools such as Fairleigh Dickinson, Montclair, Stevens Institute of Technology, Hofstra and St. John's as well as schools farther away such as Bentley, Purdue (NW), UNC (Greensboro) and William and Mary.

In the fall, the M.B.A. program also was recognized when Stillman was named a "Best Business School" by The Princeton Review for the 13th consecutive year. "We recommend the Stillman School as an excellent choice for a student aspiring to earn an M.B.A.," said Rob Franek, The Princeton Review's editor-in-chief.
